BEATBOX: Rihanna's official music video for TE AMO!

Yesterday when I posted the video for Katy Perry's California Gurls, I really wanted to post this along with it. BUT, after much thought, I felt the video needed a solo appearance in my blog. Thus, I decided to post Rihanna's video for Te Amo separately. I've stumbled upon this video a few days back. But I really didn't have the time to post it. I have so many things that I wanted to post but I can't. I want to keep up with my standards to only post 2 articles every day. Ha-ha! WHY? Cause I don't want the feeling of not having anything to post for you guys. So it's best for me to keep some things locked up and release it when needed. And because I can't keep this to myself anymore, now is the right time for me to share to you my dear viewers the official video for Rihanna's newest single Te Amo:

I have to admit, even before her cd has been released, I already have this song in my iPod. Thanks to a YouTube subscriber for leaking it. The first time I heard it, I immediately loved the song. I felt like there was a deep meaning to the song that I have to decipher in order for me to really "get" it. I was like, why is she singing the song in a second-person's base? She was like "Te amo, te amo, SHE said to me. I hear the pain in HER voice..." Then I said "Shouldn't this be a guy's song? Maybe like for Chris Brown?" Or like "Maybe she's singing it like she was telling a story. A story of the girl begging for love." Then I sticked to my second guess. Then when the video was released, I never thought of the fact that maybe it was for two girls who are in love. Well one of them is. Plus, I have to admit that this video was very risky for Rihanna. But what the heck, she's so hot anyways. She can pull off anything. Also, the video reminded me of Lady Gaga's video for Paparazzi when she was kissing the girl. Maybe art is really present in the music world now a days. They don't just stick to the "norm" anymore... they try to communicate and reach out to different types of viewers. Which is a good thing.

And did you see how fashionable they both were? Leather and boots baby! Animal prints and shoulder pads! Crazy styling! Who ever styled them, props to you guys! Sexy, chic and edgy. BRAVO!

xo,
K.Sy
