I wasn't really planning on blogging about our recent trip anymore. I love the fact that I can share my trip with you guys, but loading the pictures just kills me. It takes forever to get them done. PLUS, I'm sorta editing my photos because I have so many. HAHA. I'm trying to lessen it by editing them. But it is so hard! HAHA.
But here I am again, so I just have to suck it in because I really wanna share this trip with you guys! *Aww*
So we were still in Singapore. And this is going to be more of like a photo-blog. The pictures will just speak for itself. Hopefully. HAHA.
So before heading-off to Marina Bay Sands, we went to the un-named mall outside our hotel. HAHA. And we just went there to "stretch" first... And then while mom and pops were looking for toy cars, I went inside a CD store. Then to my surprise...
AHA! Charice's CD was there! I was having like a "proudly Pinoy" moment there. HAHA.
After toy shopping, we went back to the Hotel and waited for our ride to go to Marina Bay Sands. Everyone just waited at the lobby cause we were all so lazy to go back to our rooms. HAHA.
So when our ride arrived, we went straight to Marina Bay Sands. So the first time I went to Singapore, Marina Bay Sands wasn't even in construction. HAHA. So I was pretty much excited. Whenever I watch Discovery Travel and Living, and they feature Singapore, I always say that I really wanna go back. So it came true. HAHA.
The place was so breath-taking. The architectural structure was phenomenal.
And I really do have to thank my dad for taking this amazing stolen shot of us three. I look incredibly thin here. HAHA
So after admiring the architectural side of Marina Bay Sands, how can we forget about the shopping part right? So here's where my problem started. I just don't know what photos to post. HAHA. I just have so many. And I love each one of it. But here are the "top" shops for me.
*DROOLS* This is my favorite store when I was there. Everything inside was wearable. And soooo my style. But... a shirt probably costs 4X more than a regular shirt at Zara. HAHA. So it's pretty much high-end. (Display window) This is a cute chair I pictured (stolen) inside a store there. I forgot the name though. It reminded me of The Victoria's Secret Angels. HAHA. Maybe because of the wings. We weren't allowed to take pictures, but I was lucky enough to have stolen a shot.
So it was such a "WOW" after "WOW" experience that we actually lost track of time and it was 2pm already. HAHA. It was almost like skipping lunch in exchange for shopping (No complaining) HAHA. So did we eat? And where did we go after Marina Bay Sands? All that and more on my next post. :)
What I was wearing: DIY Lane Crawford Denim Vest, Zara White Shirt, Black Onyx Rosary Necklace, People Are People Grey Skinny Jeans, K-Bond Black Boots, Tudor Watch, Hermes Clic Clac (Mens), RayBan Aviators.
Okay, so I just can't contain myself! I just have to post this ASAP! So I woke up today feeling oh-so happy for no reason. Then when I checked my Twitter account, to my surprise, GaGaDaily posted the official lyrics of Lady GaGa's newest single Born This Way! Read and enjoy!

I'm very much sorry for not posting for a long time. My Mac was just fixed a few days ago and now I'm back and I hope that my Mac won't die on me again. *Fingers crossed*
So last December, we went to Singapore and Malaysia. I must say, that was the shortest trip we've ever had. My brother has medical duties here so our trip was cut-short. But it's cool, at least we had a short vacation outside everything that's happening here.
I decided to separate the post in 3 parts because I just have so many pictures to share. And please don't mind my figure this time. HAHA. I've been gaining so much weight that I just looked heavy and bloated in (almost) all the pictures! Thank God my clothes still fit me. But I'm shedding the extra pounds again so I am happy! HAHA.
It's my second time to visit both countries. When I first visited Singapore, I was with my brother only. This time, we're complete. Back then, I wasn't really into clothes and fashion so it was almost like blah for me. And boy did I enjoy this trip bigtime!
So the trip only lasted for four days. Two days in Singapore and two days in Malaysia. Let's start!
So we stayed in Trader's Hotel when we were in Singapore. The hotel was nice but the rooms were so small! I expected more from a hotel managed by Shangri-La. But despite the size of the room, the bathrooms were clean and modern. Plus the breakfast buffet was superb.
After breakfast, we decided to head out and walk around the nearest mall. I forgot the name though. The mall was small compared to the other malls there. It was kinda like SM Sta. Mesa here. HAHA. But don't get me wrong, the mall was very clean. And they have Starbucks there! It's so nice waking up in the morning knowing that Starbucks is just downstairs. HAHA.
[ Fred Perry Shirt, Zara Harem Pants, Burberry Bag, Converse Shoes, RayBan Aviators]
[Tudor Watch, Hermes Clic Clac for Men, Rings, Topman Bracelets]
After walking around the "almost" empty mall, we had lunch at their food court. Nothing special there. But the sellers were very nice! And they also speak Chinese so it wasn't hard communicating with them.
So notice that I'm wearing a Fred Perry shirt before we ate lunch right? Well some of the soy sauce from the noodles went into my shirt! YES!!! And Fred Perry shirts are so darn expensive!!! So I went back to the hotel and changed. I know, arte no? HAHA!
After changing, we headed to Orchard road and shopped till we drop! Every possible brand is there! And I took the pleasure in taking pictures of some of it! Please enjoy and indulge!
That TRASHY girl in boots totally stole this shot from me! HAHA.
[Zara Blazer, Zara Shirt]
I just also have to take a picture of the Wheelock Place. The place was phenomenal and the decorations are cute!
After shopping for half a day, we went to China town and ate dinner. The place was small and hot! But good food. I only have one picture though. HAHA
Yes, that's my big brother. So that sums up day one! Part 2 and 3 will follow soon. :)
Okay so at first, I really didn't want to post anything in this section anymore. I just find it rude BUT entertaining at the same time. HAHA. But due to insistent public demand, TRASH BIN is back. HAHA.
So I will be just repeating what I've said before: Everything that I'll post here are all just PERSONAL opinions. We are all entitled to our own point of view, so please no bashing. :) And the images do not belong to me. I got the pictures from my daily fashion "bible" - Lookbook.
Okay So it's no lie that I am really a fan of Lookbook. But I don't really have an account there. I just feel like I would rather share my photos here rather than in someone else's site. So as I was doing my regular routine, I just can't help but wonder why some would take pictures such as this:
So yes I did something to the photo as well (like before). I mean Lookbook's tagline is "COLLECTIVE FASHION CONSCIOUSNESS." What so fashionable about this? I mean besides the lack of a shirt inside and footwear? Not to mention, the guy is practically transparent! Making the couch the picture's focal point. I respect other's artistic point of view, but come on! We visit the site to get some inspiration on what to wear! Then you give us this? We might as well be transparent like you if we go out in public looking like this. I like the blazer and your hair but that's surely not enough to keep us interested.
So while we are all still recovering from that picture, I'll leave you all with this picture from Lookbook as well. I won't say anything about the picture because I feel like the picture says it all. HAHA. Plus, I tweaked the picture so I really don't have to say anything. It's almost like it didn't come out of my mouth. LOL. But it surely did.
I came across this song accidentally. And the moment I heard it, I knew this is going to be a hit. It's by Katy Perry. The song is called Last Friday Night.
This is such a feel good song! And right now, this song is so on repeat mode. It just makes you wanna have a good time. Plus, teenagers (like myself) can relate to this song! Like the part "Last Friday night, Yeah I think we broke the law. Always say we're gonna stop-op - Whoa-oh-oah. This Friday night, do it all again". Cause I think everyone says that. Like "okay next friday, I won't drink or go out anymore." And then when friday comes, here we go again. HAHA.
Well I hope you enjoy the song as much as I do. Katy, you rock!
PS. I found my camera connector already. Will be posting about it soon!
I wasn't all that crazy when Rihanna dyed her hair fire red before. But it kinda sinked-in my head that I guess she's gonna keep that color for a long time. If you're not a fan of the short red-headed Rihanna before, what can you say with these pictures I took?
AH-MAY-ZINGGGGG!!!
Yes! Rihanna now has long, straight fire-red hair! I guess the sexy old Rihanna is back! And I must say, her hair matches her new album - Loud! The shots where taken from her David Letterman performance last November. They even tweaked the song to a rocker-ish type instead of the amazon-ish type the song really is. And I must admit, What's My Name is one of my favorite songs from her new album!
And now I guess you are all dying to see her performance right? Oh well, I won't keep you waiting! Here's her performance! Singing her smash hit What's My Name on Late Show with David Letterman! Enjoy!
PS. What do you guys think about the new look of my blog?
I'm not really fond of reading Pinoy quotes. Not that I have anything against it, I just can't seem to comprehend Filipino that much. Well wait, let me clear that up. Ha-ha! I can perfectly understand Filipino, but when I'm reading quotes or notes written in Filipino, I always have a hard time realizing what the quote or whatever it is, meant. I remember my highschool days...we were forced to read El Filibusterismo and Noli Me Tangere (Well I think everyone was). And once class starts, I remember my heart starts beating so fast just because I didn't read "again". So I remember asking everyone to tell me parts of the story, and I'll glue them up together. Ha-ha!
Just last night, I was doing my regular routine. Jumping from Facebook and Twitter, then I suddenly came across this "status" from my friend Kurt; I cut-out some parts. I just wanted to get the core of the statement.
"Hindi baduy ang filipino. ang baduy ay yung naka-neon orange na long sleeves, neon green na pedalpusher, at neon purple na boots, with matching flaming red hair na burnt sienna ang dulo na naglalakad sa tabing-dagat habang suot ang neon pink shades at bright yellow na shemag."
Apparently, it was a statement shared by his Filipino teacher. When I read it, I was laughing so hard I was almost crying. Not because of the content of it, but because I suddenly used my imagination in seeing what is baduy for Kurt's teacher. Or as they call it, Jejemon. And oh God, I should kill myself for even typing the word here. HAHA. And please, don't ask me who or WHAT a Jejemon is, cause I won't answer. Haha! But aside from the overly-expressed and detailed explanation of what baduy is, the statement is actually correct. The language is NOT "baduy" at all. In fact, we should all love it. (Because we have no choice.)
FOR THE RECORD, I speak Filipino fluently. xo, K.Sy
So it's another post for beatbox and I swear, I really wanted to post my pictures from my last trip to Singapore and Malaysia. Unfortunately, I cannot seem to locate my camera's USB adapter so I cannot transfer my photos. SUCKS.
So for the meantime, please enjoy Avril's newest single What The Hell!
