KYLISM: Malaysia

So after two days in Singapore, it's time to move on to a different country. HAHA. So we traveled by land all the way to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. And for your info, it was a long long drive. HAHA.
I wasn't really happy with the car too. We rented a car from Trader's Hotel and boy was that a mistake. HAHA
So we spent two days in Malaysia too. But I don't really have tons of photos, that's why there's no part two in this.
There wasn't really much to photograph. HAHA.

But boy did we shop a lot.
We stayed in two suites at The Federal Hotel. Boy was the pictures at the site deceiving! It wasn't really how I imagined it. But it was booked already. So we really can't do anything anymore.

*View outside the balcony.*

The breakfast buffet was disappointing too. Not too many choices to choose from. But it was okay. Their coffee was nice though. HAHA

Malaysia was like the "it" country for my dad! HAHA. All we ever did was shop and eat. And when I say eat, I mean EAT! Dad loves going around streets and eating wherever. And boy was he satisfied! HAHA.
We also had some boding time. Just the two of us. Everyone else went back to the hotel while me and my dad stayed for a couple more hours. It was like 9pm I think? We were eating chili crab and some shellfish while drinking Tiger beer.
Its surprisingly good! I don't really dig beer, but that was just heaven! It doesn't make you feel full! We drank like 4 liters of Tiger beer that night. Just the two of us. And when we decided to go to a different place, the place was closing already. So we went back to the hotel. But I wasn't even tipsy! It just shows that my blood is really vodka mixed with grenadine. AHAHA.

The next day, it was THE day! Shopping time! HAHA. Here are some photo's of ME with a little bit of mom and dad. HAHA.
Photo's were taken by moi. :)

*Rayban shades, Topman Shirt and Polo, Hermes Clic Clac, Tudor Watch, Zara pants,
Burberry Military Green Tote*

*Massimo Dutti*

Ahm.. HAHA

So when it was time to go back to Manila, we missed our flight. So we had to book tickets at the airport. HAHA.

And oh, my dad bought us all a little something extra for the road. Ahm I mean, sky. Here's a peak of mine:

*Zara jacket, White shirt, Black Onyx Rosary necklace, People are People skinny jeans,
K-Bond boots, Black Burberry Nylon Tote.*

*Tudor watch, Hermes Clic Clac, Skull ring + Diamond ring*

BEATBOX: Rihanna's S&M music video + Lady Gaga Born This Way album cover.

Okay so first things first, I've watched Rihanna's music video for her newest single S&M. And I don't get why it's been banned in 11 countries I think. The video is provocative, yes. But come on, it's not that raunchy. She deserves a little bit credit for stepping out of her "dangerous" image and trying to be more joyful with things that has happened to her for the past years.

And the single is very catchy too!
Well you judge it yourself. HAHA
*You have to have a Youtube account to view this video because it has been flagged.*

Not bad huh? If you wanna talk about being all bad and shi*tty and stuff, why not "flag" Bruno Mars's Grenade? Yes, the time when he stood at the railway while the train was passing by. YES! That's over. Not to mention kids might copy that.
Critics should stop picking on BIG stars.

NEXT.
After the lyrics was released for Lady Gaga's Born this Way single, her cover was released just yesterday!
And I'm gonna share it here with you guys!
Enjoy!

Lovely isn't it?
This is by far my favorite album cover from her! I can't wait when she performs Born This Way at the Grammy's this Friday!!!!

KYLISM: Singapore Part 2

I wasn't really planning on blogging about our recent trip anymore. I love the fact that I can share my trip with you guys, but loading the pictures just kills me. It takes forever to get them done. PLUS, I'm sorta editing my photos because I have so many. HAHA. I'm trying to lessen it by editing them. But it is so hard! HAHA.

But here I am again, so I just have to suck it in because I really wanna share this trip with you guys! *Aww*

So we were still in Singapore. And this is going to be more of like a photo-blog. The pictures will just speak for itself. Hopefully. HAHA.

So before heading-off to Marina Bay Sands, we went to the un-named mall outside our hotel. HAHA. And we just went there to "stretch" first...
And then while mom and pops were looking for toy cars, I went inside a CD store. Then to my surprise...

AHA! Charice's CD was there! I was having like a "proudly Pinoy" moment there. HAHA.

After toy shopping, we went back to the Hotel and waited for our ride to go to Marina Bay Sands. Everyone just waited at the lobby cause we were all so lazy to go back to our rooms. HAHA.

So when our ride arrived, we went straight to Marina Bay Sands. So the first time I went to Singapore, Marina Bay Sands wasn't even in construction. HAHA. So I was pretty much excited. Whenever I watch Discovery Travel and Living, and they feature Singapore, I always say that I really wanna go back. So it came true. HAHA.

The place was so breath-taking. The architectural structure was phenomenal.

And I really do have to thank my dad for taking this amazing stolen shot of us three. I look incredibly thin here. HAHA

So after admiring the architectural side of Marina Bay Sands, how can we forget about the shopping part right?
So here's where my problem started. I just don't know what photos to post. HAHA. I just have so many. And I love each one of it. But here are the "top" shops for me.

*DROOLS*

This is my favorite store when I was there. Everything inside was wearable. And soooo my style. But... a shirt probably costs 4X more than a regular shirt at Zara. HAHA. So it's pretty much high-end.

(Display window)

This is a cute chair I pictured (stolen) inside a store there. I forgot the name though. It reminded me of The Victoria's Secret Angels. HAHA. Maybe because of the wings. We weren't allowed to take pictures, but I was lucky enough to have stolen a shot.

So it was such a "WOW" after "WOW" experience that we actually lost track of time and it was 2pm already. HAHA. It was almost like skipping lunch in exchange for shopping (No complaining) HAHA.
So did we eat? And where did we go after Marina Bay Sands?
All that and more on my next post. :)

What I was wearing:
DIY Lane Crawford Denim Vest, Zara White Shirt, Black Onyx Rosary Necklace, People Are People Grey Skinny Jeans, K-Bond Black Boots, Tudor Watch, Hermes Clic Clac (Mens), RayBan Aviators.

BEATBOX: Born This Way Lyrics By Lady GaGa

Okay, so I just can't contain myself! I just have to post this ASAP!
So I woke up today feeling oh-so happy for no reason. Then when I checked my Twitter account, to my surprise, GaGaDaily posted the official lyrics of Lady GaGa's newest single Born This Way!
Read and enjoy!

“Born This Way”

Written by: Lady Gaga
Produced by: Lady Gaga, Fernando Garibay, DJ White Sparrow
Mixed and engineered by: David Russel

INTRO:
It doesn’t matter if you love him, or capital H-I-M
Just put your paws up
’cause you were Born This Way, Baby

VERSE:
My mama told me when I was young
We are all born superstars

She rolled my hair and put my lipstick on
In the glass of her boudoir

“There’s nothing wrong with lovin’ who you are”
She said, “‘Cause he made you perfect, babe”

“So hold your head up girl and you’ll go far,
Listen to me when I say”

CHORUS:
I’m beautiful in my way
‘Cause God makes no mistakes
I’m on the right track baby
I was Born This Way

Don’t hide yourself in regret
Just love yourself and you’re set
I’m on the right track baby
I was Born This Way

POST-CHORUS:
Ooo there ain’t no other way
Baby I was born this way
Baby I was born this way
Ooo there ain’t no other way
Baby I was born-
I’m on the right track baby
I was born this way

Don’t be a drag – just be a queen
Don’t be a drag – just be a queen
Don’t be a drag – just be a queen
Don’t be!

VERSE
Give yourself prudence
And love your friends
Subway kid, rejoice your truth
In the religion of the insecure
I must be myself, respect my youth

A different lover is not a sin
Believe capital H-I-M (hey hey hey)
I love my life I love this record and
Mi amore vole fe yah (love needs faith)

REPEAT CHORUS + POST-CHORUS

BRIDGE:
Don’t be a drag, just be a queen
Whether you’re broke or evergreen
You’re black, white, beige, chola descent
You’re lebanese, you’re orient
Whether life’s disabilities
Left you outcast, bullied, or teased
Rejoice and love yourself today
‘Cause baby you were born this way

No matter gay, straight, or bi,
Lesbian, transgendered life
I’m on the right track baby
I was born to survive
No matter black, white or beige
Chola or orient made
I’m on the right track baby
I was born to be brave

REPEAT CHORUS

OUTRO/REFRAIN:
I was born this way hey!
I was born this way hey!
I’m on the right track baby
I was born this way hey!

I was born this way hey!
I was born this way hey!
I’m on the right track baby
I was born this way hey!

KYLISM: Singapore Part 1

I'm very much sorry for not posting for a long time. My Mac was just fixed a few days ago and now I'm back and I hope that my Mac won't die on me again.
*Fingers crossed*

So last December, we went to Singapore and Malaysia. I must say, that was the shortest trip we've ever had. My brother has medical duties here so our trip was cut-short. But it's cool, at least we had a short vacation outside everything that's happening here.

I decided to separate the post in 3 parts because I just have so many pictures to share. And please don't mind my figure this time. HAHA. I've been gaining so much weight that I just looked heavy and bloated in (almost) all the pictures! Thank God my clothes still fit me. But I'm shedding the extra pounds again so I am happy! HAHA.

It's my second time to visit both countries. When I first visited Singapore, I was with my brother only. This time, we're complete. Back then, I wasn't really into clothes and fashion so it was almost like blah for me. And boy did I enjoy this trip bigtime!

So the trip only lasted for four days. Two days in Singapore and two days in Malaysia. Let's start!

So we stayed in Trader's Hotel when we were in Singapore. The hotel was nice but the rooms were so small! I expected more from a hotel managed by Shangri-La. But despite the size of the room, the bathrooms were clean and modern. Plus the breakfast buffet was superb.

After breakfast, we decided to head out and walk around the nearest mall. I forgot the name though. The mall was small compared to the other malls there. It was kinda like SM Sta. Mesa here. HAHA. But don't get me wrong, the mall was very clean. And they have Starbucks there! It's so nice waking up in the morning knowing that Starbucks is just downstairs. HAHA.

[ Fred Perry Shirt, Zara Harem Pants, Burberry Bag, Converse Shoes, RayBan Aviators]

[Tudor Watch, Hermes Clic Clac for Men, Rings, Topman Bracelets]

After walking around the "almost" empty mall, we had lunch at their food court. Nothing special there. But the sellers were very nice! And they also speak Chinese so it wasn't hard communicating with them.

So notice that I'm wearing a Fred Perry shirt before we ate lunch right? Well some of the soy sauce from the noodles went into my shirt! YES!!! And Fred Perry shirts are so darn expensive!!! So I went back to the hotel and changed. I know, arte no? HAHA!

After changing, we headed to Orchard road and shopped till we drop! Every possible brand is there! And I took the pleasure in taking pictures of some of it! Please enjoy and indulge!

That TRASHY girl in boots totally stole this shot from me! HAHA.

[Zara Blazer, Zara Shirt]

I just also have to take a picture of the Wheelock Place. The place was phenomenal and the decorations are cute!

After shopping for half a day, we went to China town and ate dinner. The place was small and hot! But good food. I only have one picture though. HAHA

Yes, that's my big brother.
So that sums up day one! Part 2 and 3 will follow soon. :)

K.Sy
