And I must say, I thought I was at the point of giving up.
All of a sudden, just in the nick of time, you came along.
We started out awkward, didn't know how to start.
But as time passes, we surely did feel the spark.
As we talked endlessly through the night,
My adoration for you seems unparalleled.
Lost for words I truly was,
My heartbeat for someone was never really this fast.
Then as the hours turned to days, and days turned to weeks,
Here we are still loving every minute of it.
At first I asked what spell do you have,
To make me fall for someone this fast.
But without a doubt I trust in you,
that you'll forever love me, that's true.
And if the time comes that you'll feel cold,
I'll always be here if you need an arm to hold.
I want you close to me every night and day,
cuddling endlessly and maybe sometimes play... :p
And after it all I just want you to see
that because of my love for you,
I made this poem for you, my baby.
